TRAINING SESSION ON SCHOOL SAFETY AND EMERGENGY PREPAREDNESS

An online session was organised by team GDG for the school heads and administration staff on August 18, 2025. The session aimed at preparedness regarding School Safety and Emergency situations.

Ensuring the school safety and emergency preparedness is a shared responsibility between all the staff members of the school administration. The well planned session touched upon different aspects of school safety like campus safety monitoring, security measures, transport safety, child protection, training and awareness of support staff members, etc.

Further in the session, all safety and security issues in regard to POSH, POCSO, Anti Bullying, Anti-Tobacco Measures, Disaster Management and Road Safety were discussed. All the participants were guided for the Various SOPs, formation of committees, frequency of meetings with the committees and the documentation process.  

Together, the discussion on all these topics serve one common goal: creating a safe, inclusive, and responsive school environment. The session culminated with a dedicated Q & A segment allowing participants to engage in discussion and seek clarifications. The session had an active involvement of the participants in fostering a safer and more responsive school environment.
