ASSEMBLY - ECO FRIENDLY HABITS

"Keep it clean, keep it green. Earth is irreplaceable, let's protect it."

In today's world, the importance of adopting eco-friendly habits cannot be overstated. As global awareness of environmental issues grows, individuals and communities are increasingly recognizing the need to embrace sustainable practices.

The assembly commenced with a short story followed by the prayer and inspirational thought related to the topic. The Goenkan reporters updated everyone in a very creative way about the latest happenings around the world and in GDGPS through their news channel “GOENKAN NEWS”.

The assembly unfolded with a role play where students narrated a story highlighting the challenges being faced and the need for adopting sustainable lifestyles. The assembly was fueled with enthusiasm of students as they sang and danced to the tunes of foot tapping songs which made the audience sway to the music. The audience enthusiastically took part in the Fun Game where they segregated sustainable and unsustainable items showcased their understanding of the topic by participating actively. They concluded the assembly with a dance number and left a big impact on the audience.

To conclude the assembly Headmistress Ms. Shalini Tandon, an epitome of motivation and encouragement, was invited to enlighten the students with her words about simple steps that one should follow for a sustainable living. She appreciated the efforts and the confidence put in by all the students who performed, the compere and the students who helped backstage.

Towards the end, the Goenkans presented the school anthem with great fervor at the end.
