TRIP TO JAIPUR- CLASS XII

(SEPTEMBER 22 TO 23, 2024)

G D Goenka Public School, Sector 48, Gurugram organised a farewell trip for class XII students to Jaipur on September 22 & 23, 2024.

The Abhaneri stepwell, built in the 8th and 9th century was visited enroute. The ancient stepwell showcased the ancient system of harvesting rainwater in the water scarce  countryside of Rajashthan. The evening of the first day saw the students visiting the World Trade Park for retail amusement and later part of the evening was devoted to dances followed by dinner. Post dinner, the students were taken around to view Jaipur by night, passing by famous monuments including the Hawa Mahal. A heart-warming trip down the memory lane of the school years, over a cup of coffee, culminated this exciting day.

The morning of the second day was spent in seeking blessings in the Lakshmi Narayana temple for the board examinations and the road ahead for the young adults. After having lunch, the group started the return journey to Gurugram, reaching the Gurugram city in the evening, on the right time as planned.

The trip was enjoyable and the time was well spent in bringing the students and the teachers closer.
