THE STANDARDISATION SUMMIT

SEPTEMBER 10 & 12, 2024 

 “Equipping Teachers for Developing Coherent Educational Experiences.”

Standardization in teaching provides a clear framework for educators, fostering collaboration and alignment in curriculum delivery, which is essential for reaching the highest standards of academic achievement. In this regard, a two-day "Standardisation Summit" was organised for teachers of Grade I to XII in G D Goenka Public School, Sector 48. The summit focused on improving the quality and consistency of teaching and learning methodologies.

The summit began with an address by the respected school Principal, Ms. Anuradha Handa, who underscored the importance of the Standardisation Summit and the role of coherent thinking in achieving success. She emphasized the importance of designing a curriculum that is student-centered, considering learners' needs, interests, and diverse learning styles. Hereafter, the teachers were provided with insightful guidance to the teachers on structuring session-wise planning, ensuring clarity and effectiveness. Key parameters were thoroughly discussed, offering a comprehensive approach to streamline and enhance the planning process. Following this, teachers gathered in their respective work areas and thoughtfully and collaboratively worked within their departments, carefully planning Lesson Preview Summary for the upcoming term with a clear, focused, and cohesive approach.

The summit helped in creating a unified framework to support coherent, consistent, and effective teaching practices. Overall, the experience was highly enriching, providing valuable insights and fostering professional growth among the teachers.
