Overall, the session was a memorable and educational experience, offering students a glimpse into the world of fashion design and the joy of creating something beautiful with their own hands.

Hip hop: Art and Expression

Two of our beloved alumni, Bhavya Arora and Ananya Das, were welcomed by the dance club for an energising and inspirational session- Bounce, rock, funk, freestyle!’ Hip-hop is all about finding your individuality and your rhythm. “Dance like nobody's watching.” This is what the two alumni, Bhavya and Ananya, truly embody. A hip-hop session was conducted by them during the club period where they conveyed the message of being yourself and expressing yourself through dance.

They also discussed their journey as dancers and how they discovered their talent during their school years. A shy and quiet girl, Bhavya joined the school in grade nine. It was not until a few years later when she was recognised by our dedicated western dance teacher, Rahul Sir for her rhythmic and expressive dance. Ananya, on the other hand, was spotted by Rahul Sir in middle school. Recognising her talent, he pushed her to pursue dance professionally.

Both alumni owe their success to the school and were thankful for the endless opportunities provided to them. They expressed endless gratitude to their mentor Rahul Sir for his unwavering belief and guidance.

By the end of the session, all the students were left empowered and motivated to find their true selves. In the words of Bhavya, “If you want to make a career, keep grinding.”
