(JULY 18, 2025)
An enriching online workshop on Rubric Designing was conducted by the team of GD Goenka Schools, for teachers handling Nursery to Class II. The session aimed to equip educators with effective strategies to create clear, objective, and age-appropriate rubrics for assessing student learning outcomes.
The workshop focused on the importance of using well-structured rubrics in early years to ensure transparency, consistency, and clarity in assessment practices. Teachers were guided on how to design rubrics aligned with learning goals, developmental milestones, and classroom activities.
Interactive discussions, sample rubrics, and practical tips were shared, allowing teachers to co-create and review assessment tools relevant to their specific grade levels. The session also highlighted the role of rubrics in promoting self-assessment and feedback among young learners.
The workshop concluded with a Q&A session, where teachers shared their experiences and clarified doubts. It was a highly informative and hands-on session that strengthened the teachers’ capacity to make assessments more meaningful and reflective of student learning.
