INTERACTIVE SESSION ON JOLLY PHONICS

An enriching interactive session on Jolly Phonics was conducted by Mr. Christopher Jolly, the Founder and Chairman of Jolly Learning Ltd., at Vivekananda School, Gurugram. The session provided valuable insights into the principles and practices of Jolly Phonics — a fun and multi-sensory approach to teaching literacy through synthetic phonics.

Representing GD Goenka Public School, Sector 48, Ms. Vishakha Rajgarhia attended the workshop. The session emphasized the importance of phonics in developing early reading and writing skills and explored innovative strategies for effective classroom implementation.

Ms Rajgarhia found the session highly informative and engaging. They gained a deeper understanding of blending, segmenting and identifying sounds as well as techniques to make phonics learning more enjoyable for young learners. The event served as an excellent professional development opportunity equipping educators with practical tools to enhance literacy teaching in the foundational years.
