FAREWELL CLASS XII 2025-26 BATCH

Bidding an emotional farewell to class XII batch of 2025-26, class XI rolled out the red carpet of love, warmth and camaraderie for their seniors on December 31, 2025. The formal farewell took place in the morning with the senior students being welcomed warmly in the stilt area and then led to the auditorium.
Post the ritualistic lighting of the lamp by the Principal and the Headmistress, the audience was welcomed with an invocation to Lord Ganesha followed by a serene prayer. The Principal’s address warmly set the tone for the day with guidance and blessings for the senior students on the path ahead. With the student fraternity being represented by the President of the Student, the Head Boy and the Head Girl, the student leaders addressed the audience. Following this was the ritualistic and visually enchanting Diya Ceremony which was symbolic of the transfer of the baton of righteousness and responsibility by students of class XII to class XI.
Smartly dressed in the Goenkan blazers, both class XII and XI Goenkans flawlessly conducted themselves. The seniors further felt the bitter-sweet tinge of separation on the day of farewell as their class teachers bid them a formal goodbye. With the gifting of souvenirs by the Principal and the Headmistress, the batch etched the moment on the stage in the iconic batch photograph. The Vote of Thanks sealed the warmth of the day as the students were escorted towards cake- cutting followed by the informal farewell proceeding by class XI.
The theme of the informal part of the Farewell was KBC - Kaun Banega Crorepati and the entire show was scripted on the lines of the famous show. The students using theatre techniques, gave a rib tickling performance, drawing inspiration from actors and actresses who participate in the show, with a smattering of the local flavour. The awarding of the titles punctuated with lively dances by class XI students were enjoyed by all.
Framing the day with raw tender emotions and the nervousness of the unknown future ahead, the day saw a wonderful closure, intune with the sumptuous lunch and the beats of the dhol.
