FAMILIARIZATION DAY FOR NEW STUDENTS

The Familiarization Day for new students was successfully conducted at G D Goenka Public School, Sector 48. This event was designed to help students transition smoothly into their new learning environment and to provide parents with a comprehensive understanding of the school’s academic and co-curricular framework. The day commenced with a warm welcome by the school leadership and faculty, setting a positive and inclusive tone for the session. Students were given an overview of the school's philosophy, mission, and vision, emphasizing the commitment to nurturing future-ready global citizens through innovative education and holistic development.

A guided school tour was conducted, allowing students to explore key areas such as the Library, IT Tech Arena, Science Labs, and various activity studios. This provided students with an opportunity to familiarize themselves with their new learning spaces and understand how different facilities contribute to their overall development. The students actively engaged in interactive academic activities, offering them a glimpse into the dynamic and experiential learning approach adopted by the school. The teaching faculty introduced students to the curriculum structure, co-curricular engagements and classroom expectations, ensuring a seamless transition into the academic session.

In a separate session, parents who were unable to attend the Orientation on March 29, 2025, were provided with an overview of the school’s ethos, programs, and academic framework. This ensured that they, too, were well-informed about the school’s holistic approach and the opportunities available for their children.

Throughout the event, students were encouraged to participate in discussions and activities, fostering a sense of belonging and excitement for the journey ahead. Parents had the opportunity to interact with teachers and understand the methodologies employed in the classroom. The event concluded with an informal interaction where students and faculty members connected, reinforcing the school's dedication to building a strong partnership between home and school. The Familiarization Day successfully eased the apprehensions of new students and parents, leaving them with a sense of confidence and enthusiasm for the new academic session at G D Goenka Public School.
