CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS

An interactive workshop on Classroom Management solutions was conducted on 29th May, 2024 by the Middle Wing Headmistress, Ms. Shalini Tandon for teachers of grade 6-8.
The informative workshop helped the teachers understand the various techniques to make the teaching and learning process more effective and establish a productive working environment. The workshop focussed on the five magical areas of classroom management- effective discipline, physical arrangement in classroom, time management, inter personal relationship and effective use of resources. It is important for the teachers to be well versed with the teaching methodologies, to have proper skills for management, use appropriate gestures and have a positive approach. The workshop revolved around active discussions between the teachers and the resource person. Several images related to classroom scenario were displayed and teachers were asked to share their interpretations. The resource person also shared her personal experiences in classrooms which helped others to learn new ways of interacting with children.
Such re-skilling sessions go a long way in adding to the teacher’s repertoire of effective methodologies. The workshop was informative and the session kept the teachers fully engrossed.
