CHILDRENS DAY CELEBRATION WITH LITERACY INDIA STUDENTS
(NOVEMBER 14, 2025)
GD Goenka Public School, Sector 48, Gurgaon, joyfully celebrated Children’s Day with a special gesture of love, learning, and community connection. As part of the school’s social outreach initiative, we welcomed 20 children from Literacy India NGO to our campus for a memorable and meaningful celebration.
The young visitors were greeted warmly and were presented with thoughtful gifts by the school p Principal, Ms Anuradha Handa, making the day extra special for them. The children enthusiastically participated in a range of creative and performing arts activities, where they showcased their imagination, talent and confidence.
In the true spirit of sharing and caring, our Goenkan students contributed wholeheartedly to the Children’s Day Donation Drive. They donated a generous collection of books, stationery items, woollen caps, water bottles, and other useful materials for the visiting children. The drive reflected the values of empathy and generosity that the school deeply nurtures in its learners.
This meaningful interaction not only brought smiles to the children from Literacy India but also strengthened the school’s commitment to giving back to the community. The day concluded with happy faces, warm interactions, and a renewed dedication to spreading kindness.
At GDGPS Sector 48, we believe that every child deserves love, opportunities, and a platform to shine — and this Children’s Day celebration beautifully echoed that belief.
