ASSEMBLY-ACHIEVING EXCEPTIONAL GOALS; CLASS VI

Teaching children to move forward by accepting challenges in life, the students of VI - I presented the assembly on the topic, “ACHIEVING EXCEPTIONAL GOALS”.

Prayer is the opening of the heart to God. To start the day with the blessings from almighty the assembly began with a prayer thanking God and seeking blessings in their lives. Thereafter, the creative Goenkan reporters presented the news in a unique way creating a News Studio and updated everyone about the latest happenings in and around the world. Students shared the National news, Global news, Sports news, Weather forecast and the Goenkan News. The students of VI - I brightened the day further with positive thoughts in English, Hindi, French and Sanskrit. 

Further a song “Unstoppable” was presented by the class emphasizing on the theme of the assembly. After the song, A Talk Show: “Toffee with Goenkan” was presented, in which the life journey of some famous personalities (SHRI NARENDER MODI, MOHAMMED SIRAJ, NEERAJ CHOPRA AND SUDHA CHANDRAN) was shown. The struggles they faced to reach their goals were depicted and in the end the audience were left motivated with the thought of achieving their goals without stopping.

After the talk show, the performers told entire grade VI students the steps to reach their goals like: Setting Achievable Goals, Hard Work and Perseverance, Learning from Failure, Time Management, Seeking Support and Self-belief. The students enthralled the assembly with a group dance. Their performance was indeed full of enthusiasm. Towards the end, the students concluded the assembly by an interactive Quiz.

The assembly came to an end with the motivational words by class rep, who appreciated the efforts of the participating class.
