G D Goenka Public School, Sector 48, Gurugram, celebrated its Annual Day 2025, “Samrat Ashok – Yatra Ä€tmbodh Ki,” with splendour and spirit across three grand slots on November 6th and 8th, 2025. The occasion stood as a magnificent confluence of art, intellect and reflection, with over 1300 students from Classes III to IX and XI bringing the stage and campus alive with excellence, creativity and conviction.

The celebration paid homage to the timeless ideals of dharma, peace, and self-realization through the life of Emperor Ashoka — charting his transformation from power to purpose, from might to mindfulness. Each segment — Pratyaksh, Swaragi, and the Main Production — embodied the essence of Goenkan learning: education that enlightens, empowers and elevates.

Pratyaksh – The Turning of the Inner Wheel, the Annual Exhibition curated by Class XI students, reflected deep inquiry and innovation. Through the collective efforts of the Gourmet, STEM & Tech, Financial Literacy, Art, and Travel & Tourism Clubs, the exhibition reimagined Ashokan ideals of governance and compassion through modern prototypes, interactive models, and sustainable design. Every installation stood as a testament to Goenkan pedagogy — where curiosity meets conscience and knowledge transforms into action.

Swaragi – Echoes of Elegance, an orchestral masterpiece, transcended performance to become reflection. With harmonies moving from dissonance to serenity, it showcased how music becomes meditation — teaching discipline, collaboration and grace.

The highlight of the evening, “Samrat Ashok – Yatra Ä€tmbodh Ki,” brought to life the emperor’s journey from conquest to compassion. The theatrical production combined dialogue, dance, and drama to explore the timeless truth — that true victory lies not in ruling others but in mastering oneself.

Guided by the vision of holistic education and moral awakening, the event was graced by eminent guests, distinguished members of the management, and proud parents, whose applause echoed through every performance. Adding to the moment of pride, the school’s recognition as Rank No. 1 in the Times School Rankings 2025 reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to excellence.
