ABHIVAADAN 2025-GRANDPARENTS DAY CELEBRATION

(DECEMBER 23, 2025)

“Grandparents are the roots that hold our family tree firm and the shade that nurtures generations to bloom.”

With immense warmth and reverence, the school celebrated Abhivaadan 2025 – Grandparents’ Day on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, honouring the invaluable presence of grandparents — the keepers of tradition, love, and wisdom. The celebration, part of the school’s “Celebrating Relationships” series, reflected the institution’s enduring vision to instil in students the virtues of gratitude, empathy and respect for family bonds.

The day began with a heartfelt classroom interaction, where grandparents of students from Classes III to VIII were welcomed by their wards with handcrafted cards and artwork. The young hosts expressed their affection through songs, dances, poetry, and meaningful conversations, creating an atmosphere brimming with joy and nostalgia. The grandparents, in turn, shared stories from their lives — tales of resilience, values, and experiences that bridged generations and left a lasting impression on every young heart.

Following this interactive session, guests were invited for tea and snacks, a delightful interlude that allowed grandparents, teachers, and students to connect informally. The warmth of conversations paired perfectly with the spirit of the cold winter morning, creating a moment of shared joy and belonging.

The celebration continued in the school auditorium, where a special Christmas Assembly filled the air with music, warmth, and festive cheer. The event beautifully blended cultural expression with the spirit of gratitude, reinforcing the message of togetherness and appreciation.

Abhivaadan 2025 was not merely a celebration but a living expression of the school’s vision — to raise individuals who value their roots, respect tradition, and embrace compassion as a guiding force in life. It was a day that reminded all present that while education enlightens the mind, love and gratitude enrich the heart.
