YEAR END PRESENTATION-HARMONY; CLASSES 7 & 8

(FEBRUARY 23, 2024)

"The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team."

                                        - Phil Jackson

In embodying this philosophy, GDGPS sector 48, recently celebrated the culminating event of a year filled with collaborative learning and research — the Harmony Presentations for class VII and VIII. This occasion spotlighted the synergy of teamwork, emphasized by the STAD model (Student Teams-Achievement Divisions) of cooperative learning. Small groups, each comprising learners with diverse sub-topics from various subjects, collectively pursued shared learning goals, exemplifying the essence of collaborative knowledge acquisition.

The students showcased their year-end masterpiece, appropriately titled "HARMONY 2024" a testament to the collaborative spirit and shared learning experiences fostered at GDGPS. At the heart of this cooperative ethos is the Integrated and Collaborative Learning Program (ICLP), a beacon of innovative education that seamlessly integrates scholastic and co-scholastic subjects, transcending traditional boundaries.

An additional layer of significance unfolded as the presentations focused on addressing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The integration of these global objectives into their projects showcased not only academic prowess but also a profound sense of responsibility and awareness among students regarding real-world challenges.

Parents in attendance were not only impressed by the depth of research, creativity, and teamwork displayed but also recognized the broader impact of education extending beyond the classroom. The emotional crescendo of the session reached its peak as students concluded with a heartfelt song, encapsulating the spirit of achievement and unity.

The Harmony Presentations not only served as a testament to academic excellence but also highlighted the significance of collaboration, integration, and a global perspective, emphasizing the holistic approach to education at GDGPS.
