WORLD NATURE CONSERVATION DAY
(JULY 29, 2025)
On July 29th, 2025, the students of Class I at GDGPS gathered for a special assembly themed around World Nature Conservation Day. The assembly aimed to raise awareness about environmental conservation and the importance of preserving our natural resources.
The assembly began with a short skit performed by the children, illustrating the detrimental impact of human activities on the environment. Through their enactment, they vividly portrayed scenes depicting deforestation, pollution, and habitat destruction, highlighting the urgent need for conservation efforts.
Following the skit, students delivered in their own sweet way, a beautiful message emphasizing the beauty and significance of nature. It reminded everyone present of the delicate balance in ecosystems and the collective responsibility we share in protecting them.
The assembly concluded with Headmistress Ms Harmeet Kaur addressing the children with an urge to make a commitment to environmental stewardship in their daily lives.
The World Nature Conservation Day assembly at GDGPS served as a poignant reminder of our interconnectedness with nature and the imperative to safeguard it for future generations.
