WORLD EMOJI DAY CELEBRATION

The Foundational Year students enthusiastically celebrated World Emoji Day on 09 July 2026 through a variety of engaging and creative activities. The celebration aimed to help children understand emotions and express their feelings in a fun and meaningful way.
Students were introduced to different emojis and learned how they represent various emotions such as happiness, sadness, surprise, excitement and love. Through interactive discussions, games and classroom activities, children explored the importance of recognizing and expressing emotions appropriately.
The highlight of the celebration was a creative activity where students designed and crafted their own unique emojis. They used colours, shapes, and expressions to showcase their imagination and feelings. The activity encouraged creativity, communication and emotional awareness among the young learners.
The joyful participation of the children made the event a great success. World Emoji Day provided a delightful learning experience while fostering self-expression, creativity and emotional understanding.
