VIGILANCE AWARENESS DAY

G D Goenka Public School, Sector 48, Gurugram observed ‘VIGILANCE AWARENESS DAY’ on November 05, 2024 in classes 3 to 12 to foster awareness on ‘ANTI CORRUPTION’ among the young minds. The awareness drive inculcated various moral values in the students such as honesty, integrity, unity and tolerance within the cultural diversity. The school organized a variety of activities to observe this day.
In classes 3 to 5, the school counselors conducted a session on moral values with special emphasis on HONESTY and INTEGRITY. The class 6 students designed posters on the theme ‘CULTURE OF INTEGRITY FOR NATION'S PROSPERITY’ where they express their thoughts and ideas on unity in diversity. The class 7 students created slogans on the theme ‘ANTI CORRUPTION’ and expressed their views on the ill effects of corruption and fighting against it to strengthen the integrity and prosperity of the nation.
The classes 8 and 9 students were shown a school cinema movie ‘MIRROR’ to create awareness on the ongoing corruption in the society. The students also initiated research work on
(A) The contribution of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and significance of UNITY DAY,
(B) Anti corruption, anti corruption laws in India, anti corruption organisations functioning in India, the effect of corruption on people, basic roots of corruption at young age, characteristics of a good and aware citizen.
Students of classes 10 to 12 were involved in debates and elocutions to create awareness about the ill effects of corruption and to promote integrity and moral ethics.
The students also administered Integrity Pledge. They all actively participated in all the activities and observed the vigilance awareness day with great enthusiasm.
