TRIP TO JIM CORBETT NATIONAL PARK, CLASS VII

The school trip to Jim Corbett National Park was an educational excursion organized by G D Goenka Public School Sec 48, Gurugram. The primary purpose of this trip was to provide students with a firsthand experience of India's rich biodiversity and the importance of wildlife conservation. Jim Corbett, being one of the oldest national parks in India and a key part of the Corbett Tiger Reserve, offered an excellent opportunity to explore nature, learn about the ecosystem, and deepen our understanding of the conservation efforts being made to protect endangered species, particularly the Bengal tiger.

The major highlights of the trip were Wild life safari, Nature walk to explore flora and fauna, Visit to the Corbett Museum, Session by the professional Astronomer, Music and Dance.

The session concluded with practical learning experience, conservation awareness, understanding about solar system, celestial body and team building. Students were able to apply their knowledge of environmental science and biology in real-life situations.
