STUDENT LED CONFERENCE, A CELEBRATION OF LEARNING AND GROWTH
(MARCH 22, 2025)
The Student-Led Conference (SLC), held on March 22, 2025, for classes Nursery to II at GDGPS, Sec- 48, was a resounding success, bringing together young learners, parents, and teachers in an enriching and interactive experience. This special event provided students with the opportunity to take charge of their learning journey and confidently share their progress, achievements, and experiences.
Throughout the conference, our young learners of foundational years proudly showcased their work, engaged in discussions about their learning process, and reflected on their growth over the academic session. Parents were delighted to witness their children's confidence and enthusiasm as they presented their portfolios, demonstrated key skills, and expressed their understanding of various concepts.
Under the expert guidance of Headmistress Ms. Harmeet Kaur, the event not only empowered students to take ownership of their learning but also nurtured meaningful parent-child interactions. Teachers served as facilitators, encouraging students to articulate their thoughts while reinforcing a growth mindset. Parents appreciated the initiative, recognizing it as a valuable experience that nurtures self-expression, responsibility, and independence in their children. Additionally, the Term 2 report cards were handed over to parents, providing valuable insights into their child's progress and achievements.
The SLC truly embodied our commitment to excellence in education, ensuring that every child feels empowered and celebrated. The overwhelming positive feedback from parents and the joyful expressions on our students' faces reaffirmed the success of this initiative. We look forward to continuing this tradition of fostering confident, reflective, and self-directed learners in the years to come!
