SPIC MACAY – ODISSI DANCE

To celebrate World Dance Day, Odissi Dance presentation was organized by Suncity School, Gurugram in association with Spic Macay on Friday, April 29, 2022. Famous dancer Kavita Dwibedi along with her student – Anusha, performed Odissi during the presentation.

Kavita Dwibedi started this profession at the tender age of eight years. Over a professional career spanning twenty years, she has proved her mettle with her performances that have been appreciated in National and International festivals in India and abroad. With her graceful movements and expressive eyes, Kavita is indeed one of the Odissi’s finest and most outstanding exponents in India. Her performances have a pristine and divine quality which leaves audiences mesmerized and elevates them to a higher state of consciousness.

Five students and our Dance teacher got the opportunity to witness the performance. It was indeed an eye opener presentation for the students. The session ended with an interactive              Q & A round.
