SESSION - MINDFULNESS & PLAN AHEAD

"Mindfulness is not about getting anywhere else. It’s about being where you are and knowing it."

To enhance awareness about the critical importance of mindfulness and to equip the staff with practical tips and strategies for incorporating it into their daily routines, our school organized an in-depth and engaging session on mindfulness. This session was expertly conducted by the esteemed school principal, Ms. Anuradha Handa.

The mindfulness session was designed to introduce participants to the principles of mindfulness, equip them with practical techniques, and elucidate the benefits of incorporating mindfulness into daily routines. The session emphasized that dedicating time to connect with oneself constitutes a profound investment in personal well-being. Furthermore, a few participants shared their insightful experiences, articulating the profound effects they encountered while engaging in mindfulness practices.

At its core, mindfulness involves paying deliberate attention to our thoughts, emotions, and sensations as they arise, without trying to change them or judge them as good or bad. This practice helps create a space between ourselves and our reactions, allowing us to respond to situations with greater clarity and calmness.

Later the session was wrapped up by acquainting the members with the plan ahead as far as the working days were concerned along with the COEP plan. This plan shared prepared the staff members to be ready with the various duties they are involved in during the forthcoming fortnight.
