SESSION BY AN AUTHOR

As part of the Scholastic Book Fair celebrations, GD Goenka Public School Sector 48 organized an enriching author session for Grade 5 students with acclaimed writer and translator Mr. Sarabjeet Garcha. The session was highly interactive and engaging, with students enthusiastically participating in discussions and asking thoughtful questions. Mr. Garcha’s warm and approachable style immediately connected with the young audience, sparking curiosity and excitement about books and storytelling.

The author used the power of stories to highlight environmental issues in a way that was both meaningful and age-appropriate. By weaving important messages into imaginative narratives, he encouraged students to think deeply about their role in protecting the environment.                   Mr. Garcha also introduced his latest book, which focuses on regional stories from across India. He shared fascinating insights into the cultural richness and diversity of these tales, helping students appreciate the uniqueness of different Indian communities and traditions.

The session was not only informative but also deeply inspiring, leaving students motivated to read more and explore the world through stories. Events like these foster a love for reading and open young minds to important global and local themes, making learning both fun and impactful.
