SAVORING THE FLAVORS: MINDFUL EATING HABITS FOR WELL BEING

“When we eat mindfully, we realize that we are nourished not just by the food but by the love and care that went into preparing it”
Keeping this thought in mind and to emphasize on the importance of mindful eating habits for well-being, the students of 5C presented the assembly on the topic, Savoring the Flavors: Mindful Eating Habits for Well-Being.
The assembly commenced with a self composed poem followed by the prayer sung by the Grade 5-6 choir group invoking divine blessings from the almighty. The students shared the National, International, Sports
and Genkan News alongwith weather forecast in an interactive manner. They brightened the day further with positive thoughts in English and Hindi.
A captivating skit unfolded, portraying the importance of eating and relishing one’s food properly. The students once again depicted the importance of Mindful eating which keeps everyone healthy and happy. The assembly concluded with a heartfelt English poem titled ‘The Art of Savoring.’
Our esteemed Headmistress addressed the grade 5 Goenkans, emphasizing the importance of techniques and strategies of mindful eating while diving into the delightful exploration of taste and gratitude. The words of encouragement and guidance ignited a renewed sense of determination within the audience, to make a positive impact on their eating habits.
The assembly concluded by grade 5 students singing the School Anthem followed by the National Anthem.
