PEACE AND TOLERANCE

The assembly on the theme Peace & Tolerance – We Are One was conducted to promote values of harmony, respect and acceptance among young learners. The students of Nursery C beautifully presented the message through short lines, simple actions and expressive movements. The concept of “We Are One” was explained in a very child-friendly manner, helping students understand that everyone is equal despite differences in appearance, language or culture.

The children performed a small action song and a short presentation showing different children holding hands and playing together, symbolizing unity and friendship. Through this, they learned that being tolerant means accepting others kindly and not making fun or excluding anyone. Teachers explained that peace starts by being polite, sharing toys and helping friends.

The session also included a short storytelling segment where a story of two friends from different backgrounds was narrated to highlight the theme of inclusion. This helped children connect emotionally with the concept. The assembly instilled values of empathy, kindness and mutual respect, laying a strong foundation for positive behavior and social development. It also supported the school’s vision of nurturing caring and compassionate global citizens.
