OPEN LEARNING DAY FOR STUDENTS OF MIDDLE WING

To provide students with an enriching and engaging learning experience, GD Goenka Public School, sector 48 organised Open Learning Day on 15 May 2026 after the completion of the Periodic Tests for students of Classes III to VIII. The day was planned with a variety of activity-based sessions to encourage experiential learning, creativity, teamwork, and enjoyment among students.
Students of Classes III and IV enthusiastically participated in VLEP, value-based movie shows, PEC activities, DIY cardboard activities, readathon, quiz sessions, group games, and classroom parties. The movie sessions were followed by reflection worksheets and discussions that helped students understand important moral values. Class IV students also enjoyed a tent indoor picnic, which added excitement and fun to the day.
Students of Classes V and VI attended Growing Up sessions and counselling interactions conducted by counsellors to create awareness about personal and emotional well-being. They also participated in VLEP classroom activities, Stemplify sessions, and French language sessions that promoted practical and interactive learning experiences.
Students of Classes VII and VIII took part in yoga sessions, sports activities, Talking Stories sessions, French and Sanskrit sessions, Stemplify activities, and VVAP-based School Cinema movie shows. These activities enhanced communication skills, creativity, teamwork, and physical fitness among students.
The Open Learning Day proved to be a meaningful and memorable experience for all students. It provided them with opportunities to explore their interests, learn through enjoyable activities, and interact with their peers in a positive environment. The programme successfully reflected the school’s commitment to holistic development and joyful learning.
