MOTHER'S DAY ASSEMBLY

On the bright morning of 6th May, the Assembly hall of GD Goenka Public School, Sector 48 echoed with love, laughter, and celebration as the young stars of Class II-C took the stage to honour the most cherished figures in their lives – their mothers. The occasion was a special Mother’s Day Assembly, lovingly curated to express gratitude and admiration for the selfless love, care, and sacrifices of all mothers.

The celebration began with a soulful song that set the tone for the morning, as the children poured their hearts into melodious verses dedicated to the nurturing love of a mother. The audience was soon tapping along to a vibrant and energetic dance performance that showcased the children’s joy and enthusiasm. This was followed by a touching skit that portrayed the day-to-day efforts of a mother through a child’s eyes—bringing many parents in the audience to tears and smiles alike.

Headmistress, Ms. Harmeet Kaur, appreciated the commendable efforts of the students and their teachers. She spoke warmly to the children about the invaluable role mothers play in shaping our lives. The morning was a perfect blend of emotion, creativity, and celebration—a testimony to the values of love, respect, and gratitude that GD Goenka Public School upholds. Our young Goenkans of Class II-C truly excelled as they celebrated motherhood with innocence and grace, leaving everyone in the audience deeply moved.
