LET US CONNECT

“Your connections with other people are important, our connection to the earth”

With the onset of 2025 and on behalf of our management and principal Ms. Anuradha Handa the school invited the family members of all the staff with open hearts for “Connect 24-25” on 13th January, 2025.

Like every year the idea of the connect was to meet and greet the family members of our staff and foster a strong relationship and communication with them. The event started with a warm welcome and tilak of the members at the reception. Further, the event was taken up by the headmistresses - Ms. Shalini Tandon and Ms. Harmeet Kaur in the auditorium. They welcomed the family members with big smiles and entertained them with their compeering and fun banter. Later, the teachers who completed a decade with G D Goenka Public School, Sector 48, Gurugram were honoured and given a token of appreciation for their dedication and hardwork through the years. They all shared their experiences and poured their feelings for the school.

The event then further moved ahead with some melodious songs sung by our teachers and foot tapping dance performance on the beautiful occasion of Lohri. The auditorium was filled with laughter, love and joy. Everyone was on the stage and danced their hearts out on the beats of dhol. The family members and staff then moved to the ground and celebrated Lohri by burning the Lohri bonfire. The teachers, headmistresses and principal along with the family members were immersed in the celebration and warmth of this beautiful festival together.

With the celebrations continuing, it was then time for some scrumptious lunch together. All the family members and staff enjoyed the delicious food with some talks and laughter together. A strong bond was surely formed like every year with a hope to continue it in coming years too.
