INTER HOUSE COMPETITIONS CLASSES VI-VIII

(FEBRUARY 19, 2025)

“Success is not just about winning, but about the passion, dedication, and perseverance that fuel the journey.”

The final round of the much-anticipated Inter-House Competitions for Classes VI-VIII was held on February 19th, 2025, marking the culmination of a spirited series of contests that began with the preliminary rounds in January. Students showcased their talents, teamwork, and competitive spirit across a diverse range of events, turning the school into a hub of intellectual and artistic brilliance.

Each house – Tagore, Teresa, Radhakrishnan, and Vivekananda – fielded their best participants, making the contests both thrilling and highly competitive. Students who were not competing actively engaged as audience members in the auditorium, supporting their peers and drawing inspiration from the performances.

The Cricket Tournament on the sports field was a display of endurance, strategy, and teamwork. Players from all four houses put up a spectacular show, demonstrating their athletic prowess and sportsmanship. The Hindi Vaad Vivaad Competition in the Performing Arts Studio saw students engage in intellectually stimulating debates, presenting well-researched arguments. Their eloquence and logical reasoning impressed both the audience and the judges. Inside the Chemistry Lab, budding scientists participated in Chemical Connections, where they were tested on their scientific knowledge and problem-solving abilities. The competition challenged students to think critically and apply their theoretical understanding to real-world scenarios. The Dance Battle in the Auditorium brought an explosion of energy and creativity, as dancers from each house mesmerized the audience with their choreographed performances, blending technique, rhythm, and storytelling. Adding a theatrical dimension to the day, the Monologue Maestros competition witnessed students stepping into the shoes of legendary characters, delivering powerful performances that showcased their acting prowess and emotional depth. The judges and teacher in-charges across various venues played a crucial role in mentoring the students and ensuring the spirit of fairness and excellence in every event.

With this final cycle of inter-house competitions, the journey that began in April came to a spectacular close. The enthusiasm and determination displayed by the students underscored the importance of such events in fostering confidence, critical thinking, and a spirit of healthy competition. As the curtains fell on this season of competitions, the excitement and anticipation for future challenges remain high. The Inter-House Competitions continue to be a platform where students push their boundaries, embrace teamwork, and celebrate their passion for learning and excellence.
