“Freedom in the mind, faith in the words, pride in our hearts and memories in our souls”

With this feeling students of G D Goenka Public School, Sector 48 Gurugram celebrated the 75th Independence Day. Learners of class II and V presented a special assembly “EPITOME OF UNITY IN DIVERSITY” with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. 

The Goenkan’s of Grade II took pride in their theatrical act showcasing sacrifices made by our freedom fighters followed by a mesmerizing dance which evoked the feeling of patriotism. Grade V students presented the glimpse of different art forms related to Independence Day and also took pride in displaying our country's progression through a foot tapping dance performance and a melodious song. 

Our Headmistress Mrs Srishti Bajaj addressed the assembly and urged the students to keep the flag of the nation flying high being the citizens of tomorrow. She also announced the names of the elected members of the first student council of the Primary Wing . The assembly instilled a feeling of love and respect for our country and infused the values and reverence for the gift of freedom.
