IDM: AN EFFECTIVE ORATOR & INDUSTRY EXPOSURE- HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT

In order to make our students future ready, students are provided opportunities to develop essential employability skills like Effective communication. Students of classes XI and XII were guided about effective written communication by the language faculty. 

A session in this direction was conducted on August 16, 2021 by Mr Jerrald Jacob on ‘Being an Effective Orator’. The session was organized in collaboration with ISH- Indian Institute of Hospitality. 

Students were provided valuable tips and encouragement to become an effective speaker, overcome nervousness and be confident in public speaking. The session helped the students to develop life skills of Effective Communication, Decision making, Self-awareness and critical thinking.

They were also guided about the Hospitality Industry and its vast scope. Students were able to understand the Career options in the field of Hospitality Management and got intrinsically motivated to introspect and discover more about the career discussed.
