ICLP PRESENTATION - BOOKS COME TO LIFE

G D Goenka Public School, Sec 48, Gurgaon launched its ICLP presentation on the virtual platform on February 21, 2021. The Integrated Creative Learning Programme, ICLP, is a unique in-house program, specially designed for the students of Grade 8 that provides opportunities to the students to apply and synthesize their learning of scholastic and co-scholastic subjects.

The presentation started with the auspicious virtual lighting of the lamp followed by an address by the Headmistress, Ms. Shalini Tandon. She appreciated and praised the devotion and perseverance of Goenkans who are the leaders of tomorrow. The virtual presentation included the glimpses of the sessions and CBSE workshops conducted by the honourable Principal, Ms. Anuradha Handa, for the educators across the country where she gave a deep insight about the need of Experiential Learning and the Importance of Art Integration in academics.

The very first performance showcased the coming together of Music, Math and Science. The presentation exhibited the spirited performances of all Grade 8 students through various programmes like Art and Science, Art and Math, Literature and Theatre & Dance and Literature. The students came together for this presentation to learn, present, participate and collaborate and in the process gained a lot of knowledge on various other technical aspects of making a presentation. The presentation was a culmination of all the collective learning of the students during their ICLP classes throughout the Academic Session 2020 – 21.
