HERO MOTOCORP YOUNG INNOVATORS PROGRAM 2025
(JUNE 2025)
Hero MotoCorp Young Innovators Program 2025 is a prestigious summer internship program. This year only 30 students were selected from over 700 applicants from various schools, offering us a transformative look into the automotive sector. Three students from GD Goenka Public School, Sector 48, Gurugram were lucky to be part of the cohort - Sonakshi Sanyal of Class X D, Evan Niketh of Class XI B and Saanvi Mago of Class XI C).
During the month-long program, the students visited Hero MotoCorp's manufacturing plants, where the students observed the motorcycle assembly process, including tasks like part arrangement, machining components, and testing. It was fascinating to see how machines, robots, and skilled workers collaborate efficiently. They also learned about the difference between petrol and diesel engines, four-stroke and two-stroke engines, the combustion process, and the environmental impact of emissions.
Guided by industry experts, they explored the product development lifecycle and brainstormed innovative solutions to real-life issues, such as pollution and teenage safety. On the final day, we presented their ideas to the Hero leadership team in front of an audience.
This experience deepened students’ understanding of the automotive industry and enhanced their skills as creative thinkers and team players. Our students are grateful for this opportunity and proud to represent our school in such a valuable initiative.
