GRAPHIC NOVELS – PHYSICS

A session on Graphic Novels was held on July 07, 202. The session was coordinated and led by a team of experts from the field of education- Mr Sandeep Sethi, Ms Anuradha Mathur,
Ms Anju and Mr Amit Kapoor.

Mr. Amit Kapoor, Principal, Toeler High School, Jaipur moderated the session.
Around 400 CBSE Physics teachers, coordinators , Incharges and Principals  attended the session.

The main objective of the session was to make everyone understand that how Graphic Novels act as a powerful tool to imagine and make students understand the abstract concepts of Physics. Five graphic novels were presented on the chapters- Laws of Motion, Work and Energy, Sources of energy, Electricity and Electromagnetic Induction. One of the novels also had animations in it and that kinesthetic approach made it even more interesting.

Each novel presentation was followed by feedback by Mr. Sandeep Sethi, Ms. Anuradha Mathur -Physics Expert and  Ms. Anju Chazot- Experiential learning expert. They also motivated us to use these graphic novels and other activities in our class to make Physics learning more fun.

It was really interesting to see how just a conversation and taking real life examples with interesting graphics can make students curious about the concept of Physics. Looking forward to make such interesting graphic novels for the benefits of our students.
