FRENCH ORIENTATION SESSION FOR STUDENTS OF CLASS VIII

An informative orientation session was organised for Grade 8 students to help them choose their third language. The event was graced by the guest speaker, Ms. Babusha Verma, an eminent French language expert and educator with over 16 years of teaching experience at the University of Delhi.
She interacted warmly with the students and provided a clear road map for learning languages at the secondary level. The speaker explained that students would select between French, Hindi, and Sanskrit, and highlighted how this decision could shape their future academic journey. Emphasising the growing global importance of French, the guest spoke about opportunities in higher education, tourism, international relations, fashion, and business. He also shared how learning French enhances cognitive skills and cultural awareness. Through engaging examples and personal experiences, he encouraged students to view language learning as a gateway to the world.
The session concluded with our Headmistress presenting a token of appreciation to the guest, expressing gratitude for the insightful and enriching interaction.The session will surely help students understand the purpose and benefits of choosing French as a dynamic and career-oriented language.
