EDUVISION CONCLAVE, 2024

EDUVISION 2024 Conclave was organized by the Haryana Progressive Schools Conference (HPSC) in collaboration with The Times of India and Navbharat Times on February 01, 2024 at the Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi. The conclave aimed at bringing together, key stakeholders in the education sector, witnessed the active participation of over 500 school principals and founders.

The event commenced with an opening address by Mr S. S Gusain, the President of HPSC, emphasizing the collaborative spirit among educational institutions. Mr. Ashok Bindra, Director of The Times of India, extended a warm welcome, setting the tone for a day filled with insightful discussions and presentations.

The highlight of the event included a Special Address by Shri Sanjay Kumar, IAS, Secretary, Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education and Government of India. His remarks provided valuable insights into the current state of education and the government's vision for the future.This was followed by a Plenary Address from Shri. Himanshu Gupta, IAS, Secretary of CBSE, shedding light on the board's perspective and initiatives in the education sector.

A thought-provoking session on "Rethinking Education for the 21st Century" featured Dr. Chintan Vaishnav from Atal Innovation Mission, Sanjoy Ghosh from HCLTech, a representative from Amity University, and Narayanan Ramaswamy from KPMG. The panel discussed bridging gaps, embracing innovation, and the importance of continuous learning.

The conclave delved into global perspectives with a presentation on "Exploring Academic Excellence: Opportunities in France" by Dr. Nicolas Gherardi and Dr. Fabien Chareix from the Embassy of France in India, along with insights from Priyanka Srivastava, Senior Editor of Education Times.

Renowned lifestyle coach and motivational speaker, Gaur Gopal Das, shared valuable insights on "Beyond Academics: Life Skills in Education," emphasizing the importance of holistic development. Das emphasized that education should extend beyond the conventional academic curriculum to encompass the broader spectrum of life skills. He emphasized that while academic knowledge is undoubtedly essential, it is equally important for students to acquire practical life skills that empower them to navigate the complexities of the real world.

The afternoon sessions featured discussions on emotional intelligence by Nishtha Bhatnagar, an empowerment, parenting, and happiness coach, and a recreational team-building session curated by motivational speaker and writer Priya Kumar.

The grand finale of the conclave included a Keynote Address by Shri. Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister for Education and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India. Prof. Dinesh Prasad Saklani, Director of NCERT, and V P Yadav, Chairman of the Board of School Education Haryana, also addressed the audience.

The day concluded with a Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants, organizers, and sponsors for making the conclave a resounding success.
