(NOVEMBER 15 TO 17, 2025)
The trip to Ranthambore National Park was a unique blend of learning and adventure combining with nature and a glimpse into the rich history of the region. Situated in Rajasthan, Ranthambore is surrounded with dense forests renowned for its majestic tigers, diverse wildlife, and a captivating historical legacy.
The recent excursion to Ranthambhore National Park with our group of enthusiastic students of grade VI was a thrilling and fun adventure. The students got an opportunity to stay in a beautiful resort - Ranthambore National Resort. The ambience of the resort along with delicious food added the spice in their trip.
Ranthambhore derives its name from the formidable Ranthambhore Fort, which dominates the landscape. Their day one visit to Rajiv Gandhi Regional Museum of Natural History was indeed a great opportunity for the kids to study and see how they preserve the skin of wild animals and understand their habitat. The evening ended with a beautiful documentary of the Ranthambore tigers and a soulful Rajasthani folk music and dance. The children thoroughly enjoyed their first day.
The second day was full of activities and adventure. The children went to an early morning jungle safari. During the safari, students get the opportunity to observe animals like tigers, leopards, deer, and a variety of birds in their natural habitat, helping them understand the importance of preserving biodiversity. Later in the afternoon, the historic visit to Ranthambhore Fort was an awe-inspiring experience. The fort's massive walls, intricate architecture, and breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape left a lasting impression on our students. The trip to Ranthambhore provided students with a blend of adventure, education, and history. They connected with nature, gained insights into wildlife conservation, and explored the cultural heritage of Rajasthan. This unforgettable journey enhanced their understanding of the natural world and the historical significance of this remarkable region.
Overall, the trip encouraged curiosity, environmental awareness, and experiential learning beyond the classroom for the students.
