EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO BHOPAL

The world is the true classroom. The most rewarding and important type of learning is through experience, seeing something with our own eyes.” - Jack Hanna

To promote learning through outdoor interactions and experiences, GD Goenka Public School, Sector 48, Gurgaon, organized a three day fun-filled, educational tour to Bhopal for the students of class VII from 15th to 17th November, 2025.

The students boarded the Bhopal Shatabdi Express from New Delhi Railway Station and reached Bhopal.  The group then proceeded to the magnificent Sanchi Stupa, with a brief stop at the Tropic of Cancer for photographs. At Sanchi, students observed the Great Stupa and the enchanting Light & Sound Show that takes place against the breathtaking backdrop of the iconic Stupa.

The following morning, after an opulent breakfast, students set out to explore the Bhimbetka Rock Shelters, where prehistoric cave paintings offered a fascinating glimpse into early human civilization. After a lavish lunch at an MP Tourism Restaurant, the group visited the Upper lake to study its historic reservoir system. In the evening, the students explored the MP Mrignayanee Emporium, known for its exquisite traditional crafts, and purchased a few souvenirs.

On the final day, students boarded the Vande Bharat Express, concluding a memorable and highly informative journey. Armed with a treasure trove of unforgettable memories, this excursion was a novel learning experience for the students. The whole experience was like rewinding the time and going back to history.
