EDUCATIONAL EXCURSION TO HERITAGE TRANSPORT MUSEUM

On 17th March 2026, the Grade 3 students embarked on an exciting educational excusion to the Heritage Transport Museum in Bilaspur, Gurgaon. The museum, which opened its doors in 2013, is dedicated to showcasing the rich history and evolution of transport in India. It is home to over 2,500 objects that span a diverse collection of vehicles, artwork, toys, and historical memorabilia.

The children explored a variety of sections, including pre-mechanized and mechanized transportation, railways, aviation, maritime history, and rural transport. They were particularly fascinated by the vintage cars, classic bicycles, and models of trains and airplanes that filled the museum. The interactive exhibits and well-curated displays made the experience engaging and informative, offering students a deeper understanding of the role transport has played in shaping India’s history and culture.

After the informative tour, the children were treated to delicious meals, which provided the perfect break and kept everyone energized for the rest of the day. The students enjoyed a variety of tasty food, which added to the overall positive experience.

This excursion was a perfect blend of fun, education, and hands-on learning, making it a memorable day for all the students. It not only allowed them to explore India’s transport heritage but also provided a unique opportunity to connect with history in a fun, interactive way.
