EARTH DAY CELEBRATION ACTIVITIES

(April 22, 2026)

Earth Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in the Foundational Year. Learners were encouraged and made aware of the importance of saving the Earth, reusing materials and conserving natural resources. The activities were designed to help young students understand their role in protecting the environment in simple and practical ways.

Various engaging activities were conducted across all classes. One of the key activities included the segregation of waste into dry and wet categories, helping learners understand proper waste management. Through this hands-on experience, students learned how small actions can make a big difference in keeping their surroundings clean.

Songs and stories were also used to enhance understanding and make learning enjoyable. The learners participated actively and showed great interest throughout the sessions.

The celebration aimed to instill a sense of responsibility towards Mother Earth and encouraged students to adopt eco-friendly habits such as reducing waste, reusing materials, and saving natural resources.
