DIWALI CELEBRATIONS

Diwali, The festival of lights that enlightens the hearts and brings joy to every heart was celebrated at GDGPS, Sec-48 on 21st October 2022. Decorated in vibrant hues, the school had an ambience of joy and happiness. The special assemblies presented by the learners were a fine composition of dance, drama and music, aesthetically showcasing Indian traditions and values. 

In the classes, learners continued their joy by making beautiful rangolis and crafts with the help of their teachers. To add to the festive fervor and enable our children to experience the joy of giving, GDGPS joined hands with Umeed Foundation to put up stalls as part of the Diwali Mela in the school premises. Through this inititative our learners were made aware about the potential of the physically challenged and they understood the importance of a non-discriminatory inclusive society where every individual is equally valued and respected.

The day was filled with the spirit of Diwali and learners enjoyed the celebrations wholeheartedly.
