CURIOSITY IS THE JOY OF LEARNING
(July 21, 2026)
“Curiosity is the spark that ignites the flame of learning.”
To nurture inquisitive minds and inspire a love for lifelong learning, the students of Grade IV A presented an engaging morning assembly on the theme “Curiosity – The Joy of Learning.” The assembly highlighted how asking questions, exploring new ideas, and discovering the unknown help children grow into confident learners. The programme commenced with a warm welcome, followed by a meaningful poem celebrating the excitement of learning something new every day. A serene morning prayer created a positive atmosphere, while the Thought of the Day, presented in both English and Hindi, encouraged everyone to remain curious, observant, and eager to learn.
A lively newsroom segment kept the audience informed with updates on international, national, sports, weather, and school news. One of the most exciting highlights of the assembly was the interactive ‘Mystery Box Challenge’. This fun-filled activity encouraged students to use their sense of touch, think critically, make observations, and form logical guesses, demonstrating how curiosity helps us discover and learn.
The assembly also included an engaging presentation showcasing famous discoveries that began with simple questions, reminding students that every great invention starts with curiosity. The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks and the school anthem, leaving everyone inspired by the message that curiosity opens the door to knowledge and that every question is the beginning of a wonderful journey of learning.
