CLASS VIII (SEPTEMBER 15, 2022)

‘To achieve our goals we must know our strengths’

 The students are considered as the future of a country, and for a prosperous future, students need correct guidance, especially at an early stage of their academics. With the same objective to achieve, G D Goenka Public School, Sector-48 Gurugram organised a Career Guidance program for the students of grade VIII. The session was conducted by the eminent guest speaker Ms Shoma Roy. She  inspired VIII graders with a detailed discussion on the ample of opportunities and career options they can choose from Science, Commerce and Humanities. She emphasised that career decision is one of the most significant decisions in one’s life and therefore, it must be taken under parents’ guidance and not under peer pressure. She also motivated the students to never go out following their passion and remain focused in life.

The highlighted part of the session was how students can design their own Curriculum Vitae. They were updated about the same and created their own. The interactive and enriching session was highly enjoyed by the students. They were constructively engaged and got an insight about the career options available in different streams. The session concluded with a message that only having a goal is not an achievement but also  we should have the passion, hard work and continuous effort to achieve the desired goal.
