AWARENESS WEBINAR ON CAREER OPPORTUNITIES IN THE TELECOM SECTOR

The webinar was conducted by CBSE on initiating
different vocational courses in telecom sector for Senior Secondary students on
July 22, 2021.
The
webinar was attended by teachers as well as few drop out students, and was
useful to them for their skill development and for better employment
opportunities in future. CBSE is coming with proposal for the courses for these
students like:

Optical
fibre technicians
- ·
Android
application developers
- ·
CCE -
call centre
- ·
Handset
repair engineers
For
Senior Secondary students, proper curriculum will be designed very soon. It was also
informed during the webinar that very soon vocational courses will be worked on
for students of classes 6 to 8 as well, to inculcate technical knowledge among
students at early age.
To
understand the practicality of implementation of the program polling was done
and feedback for the proposal taken for incorporating suggestions.
