ASSEMBLY WHERE HEALTH MEETS HAPPINESS

The students of Class V B conducted an engaging special assembly on 17th September on the theme “Outdoor Games – Where Health Meets Happiness.” The programme began with the morning prayer, followed by inspiring thoughts in English, Hindi, Sanskrit, and French, highlighting the importance of an active and healthy lifestyle. The lively Goenkan News Junction kept the audience informed with national, international, sports, weather, and school news.

The highlight of the assembly was an interactive quiz on traditional Indian games such as Five Stones, Gilli Danda, Lagori, and Kho-Kho. A lively classroom conversation highlighted the benefits of playing after examinations, followed by a short fitness challenge. Students showcased their talents in Taekwondo, skating, chess, cricket, and football, celebrating fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The assembly concluded with the inspiring address by our respected Headmistress Ma’am, encouraging everyone to stay active, play more, respect others, and embrace the joy of sports.
