ASSEMBLY TURNING SETBACKS INTO COMEBACKS
(August 13, 2026)
The students of Class 7C conducted a meaningful and thought-provoking morning assembly on the theme “Resilience: Turning Setbacks into Comebacks”. The assembly focused on the importance of facing challenges with courage, learning from failures and continuing to work towards one’s goals.
The assembly began with a graceful Ganesh Vandana, followed by thoughts of the day in English, Hindi, French and Sanskrit. The news segment provided updates on national, international, sports, school and weather events. A self-written poem added a creative and reflective element to the programme.
The highlight of the assembly was an inspiring presentation on the lives of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, Neeraj Chopra and J. K. Rowling. Their journeys demonstrated that difficulties, failures and rejection can be overcome through determination, patience and perseverance. Towards the end, a patriotic song by the Middle Wing choir group added a special patriotic touch to the assembly. The powerful beats and enthusiastic presentation brought alive the Indian spirit of unity, courage and pride.
The assembly concluded with valuable guidance from the Headmistress of middle wing, leaving everyone motivated, confident, and encouraged to view setbacks as opportunities to learn and grow.
