“Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is process, working together is success, result is happiness”

There is no joy and happiness without togetherness. With this thought of love and strength, the students of class IV presented a mesmerizing assembly on the topic- ‘Togetherness is Happiness.’

Prayer is opening of the heart to God and as to a friend. To start the day with the blessings from almighty the assembly began with a shloka from Upanishad followed with a soulful prayer followed by inspirational thoughts based on the topic. The Goenkan reporters updated everyone about the latest happenings around the world and in GDGPS. Students gave a glimpse of the contribution made by famous personalities like Tulsi Gowda who won the Padma Sri Award this year and about Desh Shakti: High Josh as 1st batch of girls takes NDA written test.

The Goenkan reporter with great pride shared their enthusiasm that our school has successfully achieved the International Dimension in Schools Certificate by the British Council for the period 2022- 2025. The certificate will be formally presented to our school in a ceremony in December 2021.To add a feather to our cap our school is a centre for CBSE Term 1 board exams for 744 students.

Children expressed their findings and importance of happiness is with being in unity and in togetherness with their family and friends. This was expressed through a power packed theatrical performance. The assembly was fuelled with enthusiasm of students as they sang and danced to the tunes of foot tapping songs. The assembly left everyone spellbound with their inspirational thought and performances.

To further enlighten us our mentor, our headmistress Mrs. Srishti Bajaj addressed the assembly by inspiring us all with the example of how everyone in nature lives in harmony and unity. She quoted, “life is a celebration meant to be celebrated together”.

The assembly instilled a feeling of happiness and togetherness with a mantra, “Happiness is a choice not a result”.
