ASSEMBLY-THE POWER OF GROWTH MINDSET

A class assembly on the theme "The Power of Growth Mindset" was conducted by the students of Class VIII-H on 9th May 2025. The assembly was thoughtfully planned and showcased the talents and understanding of the students on the importance of developing a positive and resilient mindset.

The assembly began with a prayer, seeking wisdom, strength, and the courage to learn from mistakes and keep growing. It created a calm and focused environment for the rest of the program. Following the prayer, the student shared the Thought for the Day. This inspiring thought captured the essence of a growth mindset and reminded everyone that effort and persistence lead to improvement. The students then presented a brief News Podcast, covering recent national and international news, school updates, and a special feature on a young achiever who showed the power of never giving up. One of the highlights of the assembly was a lively and expressive dance performance. Through graceful movements and expressive choreography, the students symbolically portrayed how challenges and failures can be stepping stones to success. A student also recited a self-composed poem which beautifully expressed the belief in learning from failures, staying determined, and always striving to be better. The poem was met with a warm round of applause for its heartfelt message and creativity.

The assembly concluded with motivating words from the headmistress who praised the students for their performance and emphasized how adopting a growth mindset can lead to lifelong success. Overall, the assembly was a meaningful and inspiring event that encouraged both students and teachers to believe in continuous learning and self-improvement.
