Self-discipline is like a muscle: the more you work on developing it and using it, the stronger it will become.

Morning Assembly aims to create, nurture and sustain a sense of community. It serves to develop a positive school ethos resulting in harmony and pursuit of excellence in all its forms. Keeping the Theme ‘FOCUS’ in our minds, the students of class VI C of G D Goenka Public School, Sector 48 presented an enthralling assembly on the topic - ‘Self discipline is the best discipline'.

The assembly commenced by seeking blessings from God. It was followed by the Prayer dance and positive affirmations to instill the thought of self discipline. Our Goenkan Reporters updated everyone with the latest happenings around the world. The self-composed poem on Self discipline by a student filled everyone with enthusiasm.

The theme of the assembly was discussed in detail by the students. To add on, an enactment, was done by the students of class VI C followed by an interactive session asking questions related to real life problems from the audience. Further a dance was performed by the students emphasizing on the theme of the assembly which was choreographed by the students themselves.

Our respected Headmistress Ma’am enlightened everyone with her inspiring words and applauded the efforts of the students and Teachers. It was overwhelming to see the students presented so well. Students participated with enthusiasm and the assembly left everyone to believe in the motto - ‘‘Self discipline is the best discipline'.
