ASSEMBLY ON ROLE OF YOUNG CITIZENS IN BUILDING A BETTER SOCIETY
(September 24, 2026)
The students of Class 8-G of GD Goenka Public School presented a thought-provoking and inspiring assembly on the theme “Role of Young Citizens in Building a Better Society.” The dynamic presentation highlighted the importance of courage, compassion, responsibility and innovation among young citizens.
The assembly began with powerful thoughts in English, Hindi, French and Sanskrit, setting a meaningful and reflective tone. This was followed by an engaging “8-G Live News Desk,” featuring national, international, sports, school and weather updates. The lively news presentation emphasized the importance of staying informed and becoming responsible citizens.
The students then presented three creative and impactful skits. “The Road to Change” focused on civic responsibility, while “Think Before You Click” highlighted empathy and digital responsibility. “The Green Blueprint” delivered a powerful environmental message by encouraging recycling, tree plantation and sustainable choices. The assembly also celebrated inspiring young changemakers—Boyan Slat, Ryan Hreljac and Malala Yousafzai—for their innovation, compassion and courage.
The memorable and inspiring presentation concluded with a soulful performance of “Hall of Fame.” The assembly successfully conveyed that meaningful change begins with responsible actions, courageous ideas and compassionate hearts.
The respected Headmistress, Shalini Ma’am, appreciated the students for their confident presentation, meaningful message, creative performances and enthusiastic participation. She encouraged them to continue demonstrating responsibility, empathy and courage in their daily lives.
